A.Hakikat Pengetahuan
manusia selalu memiliki rasa ingin tahu ,jika manusia beratnya , maka sebenarnya dia ingin mengubah keadaan dirinya dari dari tidak tahu menjadi tahu atau gejala yang terjadi dialam semesta, baik dalam bentuk fakta dan konsep atau prinsip.Pengetahuan berbeda dengan ilmu pengetahuan. ilmu pengetahuan pasti berassal dari pengetahuan, tetapi pengetahuan belum tentu bisa menjadi ilmu pengetahuan.
B. Hakikat ilmu Pengetahuan
Ilmu pengdetahuan atau sains adalah pengetahuan yang diperoleh dengan cara tertentu, yaitu cara atau metode ilmiah. Jika ada suatu pengetahuan yang didapat dari cara2 non ilmiah maka pengetahuan tersebut belum layak disebut sebagai ilmu pengetahuan . Ciri khusus dari imu pengetahuan ibarat bangunan didirikan diatas dua pilar utama yaitu :Struktur logis sains(the logic structure of scince) dan pengujian terhadap pernyataan (the veryfiability of claims).Struktur logis sains adalah urutan atau tahapan yang harus dilakukan oleh seorang ilmuwan dalam mencari ilmu pengetahuan.
C. Kesalahpahaman Tentang Ilmu Pengetahuan
Ada 4 macam kesalahpahaman tentangb ilmu pengetahuan yaitu:
1. Ada anggapan bahwa sains adalah mengumpulkan (mengakumulasi fakta)
2. Sains tidak pernah mampu menjelaskan kejadian atau gejala alam secara utuh dan menyeluruh.
3. Kebenaran ilmu pengetahuan dianggap absolut dan abadi
4. sains harus mempunyai manfaat praktis

How to Save the Earth

The Barelang Bridge
The Barelang Bridge (Jembatan Barelang) is a chain of 6 bridges of various types that connect the islands of Batam, Rempang, and Galang, giving the system its name. The smaller islands of Tonton, Nipah, and Setotok (considered as parts of the Batam Island chain itself) connect Batam and Rempang.
The bridge is an icon of the local area and is a popular tourism site. Some locals call the bridge Jembatan Habibie after Jusuf Habibie, who oversaw the project in construction, aiming to transform the Rempang and Galang islands into industrial sites (resembling present-day Batam). However, the bridge site has grown more into a tourist attraction rather than a transportation route.
The total stretch of all 6 bridges total to 2 kilometers. Traveling from the first bridge to the last takes about 20 minutes. Construction of the bridges started in 1992 and took names from fifteenth- to eighteenth-century rulers of the Melayu-Riau Kingdom.
The Tengku Fisabilillah bridge connects Batam and Tonton island. It stretches for 642 meters and is the most popular bridge of all, being a cable-stayed bridge with two pylons. The remaining 5 bridges are mostly standard beam bridges.
